Sukreeta Shrestha

Sukreeta Shrestha's journey as an educator is defined by a deep commitment to understanding the systems that support human growth. With an academic background in Health Care Management, she views the school environment as a vital ecosystem — one where institutional health and individual well-being are inextricably linked. Over seven years, she has translated this perspective into classroom practice, developing mastery across both progressive and IB curricula in diverse settings.

Sukreeta's teaching philosophy is rooted in nurturing the whole child. She works as a compassionate guide, using inquiry-based and experiential learning to bridge rigorous academic standards with each child's natural curiosity — weaving mindfulness and Buddhist wisdom into her daily work as naturally as any other lesson. It is this integration of contemplative practice with modern pedagogy that draws her to Tergar Schools, where she finds Mingyur Rinpoche's vision of awareness and compassion reflected in the classroom every day.

Outside the classroom, Sukreeta is a seeker of balance and a lifelong learner, bringing a joyful and equitable presence to her community. She is dedicated to creating a learning environment where every child feels truly seen, supported, and empowered to explore the world with a grounded and mindful heart.
